On this week's programme:

This week’s show, broadcast twice, is a compilation from the artists that appeared at the Womad Festival which took place at Charlton Park in Wiltshire in the UK on the weekend of July 26th - 29th 2018.

The programme was recorded prior to the festival and, as it turned out, Sabry Mosbah and some members of Tal National were refused visas to enter the UK and so didn’t play. I didn’t actually see some of the artists below ie. the Owiny Sigoma DJ set, Ladama, Talisk and Abatwa (The Pygmy) - it’s just not possible to see everything! I will be publishing my Womad report on my website very shortly.
