Paris Combo are a French swing band who recently lost their vocalist to illness.

Leyla McCalla is a Haitian-American who featured in the Carolina Chocolate Drops and Our Native Daughters.

Producer and musician Dennis Bovell has been a mainstay of British reggae for decades.

Live recordings of Mavis Staples and Levon Helm, just before the latter’s death, will be on release very soon.

Folk doyen, Peggy Seeger, is touring her new album throughout Ireland next month.


John McLaughlin, iconic jazz/spiritual guitarist, is playing the National Concert Hall on the 26th May.

Tumi Mogorosi is a South African drummer and composer with a 9-piece choir.

Gambian griot Dawda Jobarteh embellishes his voice and kora with a Danish string quartet.

The Master Musicians of Jajouka are the renowned ensemble from the Rif mountains of Morocco.
