Les Amazones d’Afrique are a formidable line-up of West African singers with a live EP and a tour upcoming.

Ghanaian highlife in the diaspora took on the club style in the 1980s….the Borga Revolution!

Real World are re-releasing six albums from their African back-catalogue including those from Nigerian fuji artist King Wasiu Ayinde and Senegalese singer/bandleader Omar Pene.

Moktar Gania is a Moroccan gnawa musician and brother of the late master Mahmoud Gania.

Senegalese bassist, Alune Wade, has played with some of the greats of African music and jazz.

Julian Belbachir is an Australian percussionist with musicians from Morocco and West Africa.


Lamia Yared is a Lebanese-born singer with a repertoire linking various traditions from Asia Minor to Greece and Spain.

Ferkat Al Ard was a Lebanese trio in the 1970s with strong links to Brazil.

Wax Machine are a Brighton-based outfit playing folky psychedelia and tropicalia styles.

Tumi Mogorosi is a South African drummer releasing two versions of a spiritual classic.

Kronos Quartet commemorate the heroic attempt of Hugh Thompson to avert the My Lai massacre in the Viet Nam war in 1968.
