Les Mamans du Congo are from Congo Brazzaville with Frenchman Rrobin on production.


Kavita Shah is a New Yorker with a love of Cape Verde and Cesaria Evora.

Gabriele Garrubo is a Brazilian singer with a career in Nordic jazz.

Chango Spasiuk, major chamamé accordionist from Argentina, collaborated remotely with many musicians during covid.

Brazilian country music is “musica caipira”, a forerunner of the later “musica sertaneja”.


Yungchen Lhamo is a Tibetan spiritual singer-songwriter releasing her seventh album.

Mari Kalkun is an Estonian artist, currently No.1 in the Transglobal World Music Chart

Welsh harpist Catrin Finch collaborates with Irish fiddle-player Aoife Ni Bhriain.

Nils Økland is a hardanger fiddle player from Norway taking folk music into the contemporary arena.
